Abstract

Hace algunos años que las personas inmigrantes y-o extranjeras inician su entrada en el ámbito universitario. Actualmente se debe hablar de colectivos, dado que su número es mayor y su carácter más diverso. Esta realidad se ha hecho patente además por la creciente asistencia de estas personas a los servicios universitarios, tales como el Centro de Orientación, Información y Empleo del estudiante (COIE). A través de la entrevista y el trabajo con ellos, no solo se pueden contabilizar el número de entradas, sino además conocer y apreciar cuáles son los estudios universitarios que prefieren, la formación que han recibido, su trayectoria profesional, intereses y demandas, entre otras. En estas perspectivas, se describen los canales de entrada al COIE del Centro Asociado de la UNED de Talavera de la Reina, el proceso de orientación que se ofrecen para atender sus demandas, y en qué medida el COIE colabora en una inserción integral, es decir, social, educativa y laboral, del individuo en su comunidad.

Although the entry of immigrants and-or foreign students in the university started years ago, now we speak of collective, as is getting quite big and diverse. This reality refers also to the increased numbers of these type of people attending university guidance services, eg Students Centre for Guidance, Information and Employment (COIE) Through interview and working with them, we can not only count the number of entries, but also know and appreciate their preferences regarding study choices, training received, career itinerary, interests, demands, etc. In these pages, we will describe access channels to the COIE in the UNED Associated Centre of UNED in Talavera de la Reina, the guidance process offered to meet their needs and demands, and to what extent COIE cooperates with global inclusion, meaning social, educational and for the labour market.
