abstract = {It's compared the effects of peer and teacher feedback on secondary level EFL students in the north of Spain. Two tests were simultaneously conducted and corrected either by peers or by the teacher in parallel groups following a different order. Both had been preceded by a pre-test and followed by a post-test. With the aim of investigating the relative effectiveness of peer feedback vs. teacher feedback on grammar accuracy, the results of the post-tests were compared. Findings indicate that both peer and teacher feedback are effective teaching tools to use in the classroom. Moreover, results indicate that peer feedback may be slightly more effective than teacher feedback. It seems that specific circumstances such as the age, socioeconomic status and proficiency level of the participants may have influenced the results.},
abstract = {Se comparan los efectos de la retroalimentación de compañeros y maestros en estudiantes de ILE de secundaria en el norte de España. Dos pruebas fueron realizadas y corregidas simultáneamente por compañeros o por el maestro en grupos paralelos siguiendo un orden diferente. Ambos habían sido precedidos por un test previo y seguidos por un test posterior. Con el objetivo de investigar la efectividad relativa de la retroalimentación entre compañeros frente a la retroalimentación del maestro sobre la precisión gramatical, se compararon los resultados de las pruebas posteriores. Los hallazgos indican que la retroalimentación de compañeros y maestros es una herramienta de enseñanza efectiva para usar en el aula. Además, los resultados indican que los comentarios de los compañeros pueden ser un poco más efectivos que los comentarios de los maestros. Parece que las circunstancias específicas como la edad, el nivel socioeconómico y el nivel de competencia de los participantes pueden haber influido en los resultados.},
